OYO STATE WORKERS TO CLOSE 12 NOON TOMORROW IN PREPARATION FOR SATURDAY ELECTION

Oyo State governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde, has approved a half day for workers in the employment of the state for tomorrow Friday, March 17, 2023.

The approval, according to a circular signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Mrs. Olubanwo Adeosun, is to enable civil and public servants in the state, who may wish to travel to vote in the Saturday, March 18 Governorship and House of Assembly election, to do so.

A statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Mr. Taiwo Adisa, indicated that workers are expected to close at 12 p.m., with only those handling essential duties expected to remain at their duty posts.
